MMP Update 1
Ongoing development of MMP project: Developing 21st Century Skills among Learners
I have started in earnest of the MMP project of developing a generation of global citizens who have a full command of the 21st century skills. I am working on the website and most of the photos I am using are from my archives for the work I have been part prior to this course.
This is the home page of the would be website where students will be sharing on different activities that are geared towards equipping them with 21st century skills. In the above caption is one of my students on camera during a school event. As a media team we use students to shoot videos and take good photos during school events
I have used my photo on this page for the school head message and as the website takes shape hopefully I can get the real picture and message from the Headmistress
This is the contact page and I like the way Wix team embedded google maps in their website. All you need is a valid address and the school map will be generated for your. That's the beauty of technology.
This page is where the learners will be posting there class work for the wider public to comment and also receive feedback from peers.
I must say that this a website under construction and I am hoping that once I am done with this class and I am back home, I will continue to grow alongside my students as we acquire 21st century skills.

Hi Theo, I like how you used a lot of design concepts from Hagen and Golombisky's White Space Is Not Your Enemy, such as the consistent spacing and line work in your last image. In addition, I like how you centered your layout by visually grouping all your information within a contrasting border. Would it be possible to see more with a link, or would you rather wait until it is finished? Maybe it would be best to create a screencast of your website. I like reading about how excited you are to get back and working again. You must be at a very nice school.
ReplyDeleteTheo, looks like you have a great start to your project, and I'm excited to see the end result. I like the design and layout as well, and hope you're able to share a link with us at some point. Best of luck.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I will definitely share with the class.
